Cartellone is a website devoted to live performing arts in the Emilia-Romagna region.
A complete listing of music, drama and dance events taking place in the region’s fine theatres; a testimony to the wide variety of performances on offer in the area.
Though not offering a complete guide in English, the site gives access to most information with bilingual search programmes.
Event diaries can be consulted either by individual performance listing or by festival headings.
It is possible to perform theatre and venue searches; all useful contact information and brief event descriptions are also given.
In the “subject” section all useful information is given (also in English) on the region’s performing arts network as well as on leading ensembles and production companies.
Other pages are available in Italian only. These include information updates of leading events, news of professional training opportunities, study courses, research and further data provided by the region’s performing arts observatory, plus regional legislation governing the sector.
Access to information is via the extensive menu on the right of this page; the same menu appears on all other website pages.
